BOOKING & GENERAL POLICIES

When I get a price from your NYC TripQuote system, what is included?
NYC TripQuote includes the features of our Manhattan Nights package, along with any other theater, sightseeing or dining options you select. All NYCVP packages include all taxes, free admission to either the Empire State Building Observatory or Rockefeller Center Tour and admission to either the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the American Museum of Natural History, plus shopping discounts at Macy's and Bloomingdale's, as well as free gifts with purchase at Bloomingdale's. We also include 24-Hour Emergency Travel Assistance and our exclusive "Insider Tips."

When I get a price from your system can I include airfare?
When pricing with NYC TripQuote, you can choose a land only package or an Air-inclusive package. All of our Air-inclusive packages include ROUNDTRIP airfare, so don't let the low prices fool you.

How do I reserve my NYCVP vacation package?
Three ways:

  1. use our NYC TripQuote System
  2. call us at 877 NYC-TRiP (877 692-8747)
    9am-6pm Eastern Mon-Thu
    9am-5pm Eastern Fri
  3. email us at res@nycvp.com.

 

What are the deposit requirements?

We need full payment at time of booking. You may remit payment by agency check or by client's credit card. Please note that in many cases we will not purchase theater or other event tickets on your behalf until you have provided the appropriate payment. For your protection your clients may also be asked to complete, sign and return a form to us.

What about last minute bookings?
No problem. However there is a $25 service fee if we donít receive final payment by 14 days prior to departure.

What is not included in the package price?
The prices advertised are in US Dollars and include all taxes applicable at the time of this publishing, and ticket or service fees. Anything not specifically mentioned in this advertisement is not included, like meals, phone charges, rollaway beds or cribs, room safes, ice, parking, and health club fees. If the hotel offers complimentary meals, the hotel is responsible for the menu. Transportation to and from sightseeing pick-up points, and to and from theaters, is not included.


Can prices change?
Prices and included features can change at any time, but not after we receive payment in full, unless circumstances occur out of the control of
NYCVP such as, but not limited to, increase in tax rates or fuel-related surcharges.


Will I get any paperwork from you?
When you make a booking with NYCVP, we send out a confirmation to you. Approximately 3 weeks before departure we send all travel documents, along with any Broadway Show tickets or airline tickets. We also will include a Client Itinerary that your clients will complete, sign and return to us, verifying that everything is correct and that they understand the cancellation policies. This protects you from any potential misunderstanding.

What happens if my clients need to cancel their trip?
We will return all your money except as follows:
If canceled more than 30 days before departure, full refund less $50 per person plus supplier penalties.
If canceled 30 days or less before departure, full refund less $100 per person plus supplier penalties.
Supplier penalties may include 1-night hotel fee, cost of airline ticket and cost of theater or other event tickets, or special options.
For travel commencing 11/21/10 through 12/31/10 or 11/20/11 through 12/31/11
We will return all your money except as follows:
If canceled more than 90 days before departure, full refund less $50 per person plus supplier penalties.
If canceled 60-89 days before departure, full refund less $50 per person plus 25% of hotel cost plus supplier penalties.
If canceled 31-59 days before departure, full refund less $50 per person plus 50% of hotel cost plus supplier penalties.
If canceled 30 days or less before departure, full refund less $100 per person plus hotel cost plus supplier penalties.
Supplier penalties may include 1-night hotel fee, cost of airline ticket and cost of theater or other event tickets, or special options.

Note that some hotels and transportation companies impose their own penalties which will be deducted from the refund. NYCVP may, in certain cases, impose a 100% penalty if the package is canceled within 72 hours of departure. Refunds will not be processed until: (1) all documents are returned to NYCVP, and (2) all monies are refunded to NYCVP from suppliers. Theater, event tickets and certain special options are not refundable. Ask at time of booking.
We highly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance, which may cover any and all penalties.
